WHY SHOULD I BOTHER?
When potential car thieves see your car has been glass etched they know they can't sell the car, even for stripping or spare parts. If some one finds your dumped car they can contact you immediately and this will save the fate of many dumped cars, being stripped or vandalised by local youth. If your alarm is activated or you are blocking a driveway or parked in a manner that would normally result in a call to parking police, you will be called instead. Possibly the more important issue will be when you contact your insurance and check out the reduction in insurance fees for etched cars! Etched cars can be sold and the security rolled over to the new owner. Kind people may also call to remind you that you are parked on a clearway or simular before you are booked. The task of marking all glass on the car is very simple, safe and takes very little time though stencils are required.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
- Access the Internet, log on to www.SAVEYA.com, select and enter a unique identifier (SAVEYA prefers a unique identifier for each car that reflects the identifier on the stencil that we supply or the one you purchase from elsewhere. If the number is duplicated add a letter to the end to differentiate in searches.)
- Enter the password you want to use
- Follow the prompts to add your contact details, and vehicle description knowing they are fully secure
- All this for NO CHARGE! But you've gained peace of mind......
- Mark all or most windows of the vehicle as per the kit instructions (Our shop sells a full kit for marking glass in vehicles at a most affordable price.)
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
- Nothing, unless someone finds your car and notifies us by calling the number on your tag
- We'll check that it is a genuine caller, with a process that weeds out hoaxers and time wasters--then keep calling you or other people you may have nominated until we contact someone to alert them to the found car
- In such situation, with your permission, we'll charge you a small flat fee to your credit card
